School's out, but Reading Partner's Summer Session is In!
A question we frequently heard over the school year from volunteers was: “do you continue tutoring over the聽summer?” We’re pleased to say that this聽summer聽in Colorado, the answer is, yes we do!
After completing our first year of in-school聽programming聽in Colorado, 澳门真正最准的免费资料 was excited to launch a聽summer program聽in partnership with the Lowry Family Center at the Evie Dennis Garrett Campus in Far Northeast Denver. 澳门真正最准的免费资料 offered our signature one-on-one tutoring to 5-8 year olds enrolled in Lowry Family Center’s聽summer camp, giving campers the opportunity to get out of the heat and explore a book with their own tutor.
In addition to reading with their students, volunteer tutors helped Lowry Center campers make arts and crafts related to book themes.聽We are thrilled to have both returning and new volunteers tutoring with us this聽summer, more than 40 in total!
