Dear friends and family,

I’m writing to tell you about my volunteer work with ��׼��. It’s an incredible organization that connects volunteers with students to help them boost their literacy skills. At a time when only about 1 in 3 of our nation’s fourth graders can read proficiently, the need has never been greater.

I believe in creating a more equitable future for kids in our community, and that’s why I volunteer to tutor a student once a week. Every time I see my student, I notice their progress from the previous week and we have a blast reading together.
