Summer Reads for Kids
Ahhhhhh, summer鈥檚 here…What a great time for reading. This is the best time of year for kids to find a passion and joy for reading. This is the time of year when kids can read anywhere and read often. Kids can open doors to new worlds while reading A Black Hole is Not a Hole under the light of a flashlight while stargazing; they can dress up like an astronaut while reading If You Decide To Go To the Moon.
Summer is not about 鈥渢aking a break鈥 from reading, but rather, an opportunity to learn and explore even more through reading. Not to mention, finding the joy of reading over summer helps beat the summer slide and continue to build on the learning momentum that has been growing all school year!
