Volunteer in Washington DC

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer reading partner. While volunteer enrollment has closed for the 2023-24 school year, we are currently accepting in-person and online volunteer tutoring sign-ups for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.

  • Tutor a student once per week.
  • No experience required.
  • All tutoring materials, lessons, and training will be provided by 澳门真正最准的免费资料.

To get started, review the volunteer requirements and complete the sign-up form below. We will contact you via email with more information about tutor orientations and next steps.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Age

    You must be 14-years or older (some options may only be available for 18+)
  • Time & Location

    Commit to a little over one hour per week (tutoring generally takes place 10 am-5:30 pm, Mon-Thurs) and reside in a proximal area to the 澳门真正最准的免费资料 region
  • Training

    Complete required tutor orientation and have access to a computer and reliable wifi for online tutoring
  • Screening

    Pass a background check
  • Terms and conditions

    Agree to the terms of our tutor code of conduct
